Hey all! I’m going to be finalizing a “Best of 2006″ list here in the next couple of weeks and posting it onto my blog at www.fredhudsoniii.wordpress.com and I want to give you the chance to contribute.
If you are interested, please send me your list via MySpace email or by my Juno account (send me a MySpace email if you need my Juno address). I will post any submission I get onto my blog along with your first and last name as well as a link to your MySpace page.
You can be as serious as you want to with this or as funny as you want, but let me and everyone else who reads fReDiGgLe’S bLoGiZzLe know what they should be listening to, reading, watching or plain missed out on in 2006.
I’d like to limit the items you choose to 2006 releases, but if you have something that deeply impacted you that was put out earlier (2005, 2004, 1948), I guess that’s okay.
Possible ideas for your “Best of 2006″ list may include all, some or one of the following…
music (you can divide into genres [punk, rock, pop, rap] if you’d like)
- album
- production
- artwork
- lyrics
movies (in general and categories, i.e. comedy, drama, action)
- film
- actor
- actress
books (includes comics, but separate catagories)
- author
- artist (for comic books and possible children’s books)
television
- show (in general and categories, i.e. comedy, drama, reality)
- actor
- actress
Please submit your choices by Wednesday December 27th so that I may have them posted by the weekend. Anyone submitting their list agrees to have their first and last name as well as a link to their MySpace page posted in conjunction with their list on fReDiGgLe’S bLoGiZzLe (www.fredhudsoniii.wordpress.com) (unless you notify me of something different).
I hope many of you will participate as this could be really big and really cool. I also thank you in advance for your help. I hope everyone has a glorious Christmas and Chanukah.
